To A Tea Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Augusta, Georgia, serving the CSRA through free community programs for youth, families, emerging adults, and adults seeking practical pathways forward.

We are an early stage organization with active programming, a formal board, documented operations, community partners, and the infrastructure to receive and steward grant funding responsibly.

Who We Are

To A Tea Inc. was founded in September 2024 in Augusta, Georgia to remove barriers between people and the resources, skills, and confidence they need to move forward.

In our first year and a half, we have mentored 800 plus youth across the CSRA, reached 1,000 plus community members, delivered free programming through partner sites, and built the infrastructure needed to grow responsibly.

Our programs are free to participants and supported through grants, donations, sponsorships, and community partnerships.

Current Funding Priorities

Career Connected Training

Need: Richmond County’s poverty rate is 20 percent, almost double the national average of 12.5 percent. Local unemployment in the Augusta Richmond County metro area is 11,719 people.

The Artisan Cohort prepares adults for certification, production readiness, business fundamentals, and income generating opportunities.

Funding supports: materials, instructor stipends, certification prep, supplies, and program coordination.

Outcomes tracked: enrollment, attendance, completion, certification, income opportunities, and employment pathway conversion.

Youth Programming

Need: 36 percent of children in Richmond County live in poverty.

Rise & Reach Mentorship has reached 800 plus youth across the CSRA at no cost to participants or host organizations. Emerging Leaders supports young adults ages 16 to 22 through confidence, leadership, emotional literacy, and decision making.

Funding supports: facilitator prep, curriculum, youth activities, supplies, transportation support when applicable, and partner site delivery.

Outcomes tracked: youth served, sites added, sessions delivered, attendance, feedback, and youth advancing into Emerging Leaders or volunteer leadership.

General Operating Support

Need: To A Tea Inc. runs free programs across the CSRA with volunteer staff and limited administrative funding.

Operating support helps fund the systems behind the mission, including volunteer management, technology, compliance, reporting, communications, and program administration.

Outcomes tracked: volunteer hours, programs sustained, participants served, reports completed, partner sites supported, and compliance systems maintained.

Community Events and Outreach

Need: 18.5 percent of Richmond County residents face severe housing problems. Many families also face barriers to food, basic resources, and free community programming.

Skill Sharing Saturday reached 100 plus attendees at its first event in March 2026. Community events help provide workshops, meals, outreach, resource connection, and volunteer training.

Funding supports: venue needs, meals, supplies, outreach materials, event staffing, participant resources, and follow up support.

Outcomes tracked: attendees served, meals or resources provided, volunteers trained, referrals made, and participants connected to future programs.
